Description of service
After owning a business for 9 years, we decided to get a yellow page ad. It is a small listing, just a box with our name and a little bit of info in it. The basic yellow pages ad with phone number and a brief explanation of the services we offer. It is in black and white. We chose to not go with color for budget reasons.
Review of Service
I am very pleased with how easy it was to get everything proofed and revised. I look forward to receiving the many calls from the yellow pages ad. The sales people were very understanding of our budget, being a small company it's not much.
Tips
Make sure you can afford to have an advertising package. I think they are very important to your business, but if you don't have budget room it's silly to advertise something that will be out of business before the book goes to print. Make sure you know exactly what it is that you want. You can always try and bargain with them if what you want is out of your price range. Most of the time I imagine that they are happy to have a small ad instead of no ad.
