Description of service

I placed an ad in the yellow pages in Indianapolis last year. The ad looked great, placement was good and the ad was very eye catching. We operate a construction final clean service who only service builders, we were told and quoted stats of people who are looking for our services, which I feel was a little misleading. Had we offered our services to homeowners we would have had an astronomical response, even though our ad clearly stated that we were a builder provider.

Review of Service

I was happy with the service provided although I thought the cost was very high. And seeing as how we had no response that resulted in work for our company I was displeased. We had tons of phone calls though, but from homeowners (who we do not offer service to)

Tips

I would recommend that you do your research before placing an ad. Other Businesses just don't normally look in the yellow pages for other businesses, especially when it comes to construction contractors. I would also recommend a good answering machine because the phone calls will come, whether they result in cash or not. Certain businesses would definetely benefit from the type of market and demographic that reads and uses the yellow pages.
