the Cost of Personal Loans

The alternator in my car had broken, and I needed a quick loan. I went to a local loan place that was kind enought to loan me two hundred dollars as a short, one month loan and I had to pay it back in one lump sum, which was on the same day I got paid from my job. I paid back a total of $217, so the loan cost me $17 total.

I guess the service was good, but I don't have much to compare it to. The people at the loan place were very polite and they were very quick with their work. I was in and out in about thirty minutes flat. They took down my information, including a valid state issued ID, and a checking account and that was it. Pretty smoothe and I got my car fixed that day, so I was able to go to work.

I was unsure about this service at first, but it came out okay. It was cheaper than going to a bank, which would have forced me to take out a much larger loan than what I needed, plus all the interest and payments and such.
