the Price of an Ob/Gyn

I got a basic gynecological appointment/checkup from a doctor. They also do family planning, diagnostics, testing, diagnostics, regular exams and check-ups, prenatal care, birth control, advice

I did not like the doctor who I saw. He had terrible bedside manner, and it was obvious there was a problem, but he didn't fill me in on what it might be. It was unsettling at best. The lack of communication was terrible, and it made me feel like he thought I was dumb, or didn't know what was going on. It was insulting and degrading, and I will never go back to him again. He did not correctly diagnose the issue I was having, either, until later. Then he told me it was what he was worried about all along, which made me even angrier, because I knew from his reaction there was something going on.

If you don't like your ob/gyn, find a new one! I cannot stress this enough, because they are the one person you need to be able to have an open dialogue with. If you don't feel you are being properly addressed or treated or administered to, there is no reason you can't move on to somebody else. Ask around to see if your girlfriends or sisters or mother have anybody they like who they can recommend. Chances are, you will be much better off.
