Description of service
I go once a year for a women's health care check up. During this visit the doctor usually performs a pap-smear, checks for STDs, and takes blood for a routine check. These procedures are not very painful at all, but they are a bit uncomfortable. Some women may prefer to have a femaledoctor as an OBGYN, in order to feel more comfortable. Most test results are available with in the visit, but the blood test usually takes a few days before you are able to get the results back.
Review of Service
I have been going to my doctor for the last two years, and I think he is great. He has experience, and always does his best to make me fell comfortable. The nurse is the one that takes the blood for the blood test, and at my doctors office there is always a different nurse that does it. All of my doctors nurses are very well trained, to perform their job to the best of their ability. It never takes more than an hour from start to finish at these visits.
Tips
The only tip that I have to share would be, find a doctor that you like and build a patient doctor relationship with him or her. You will get better individual care if your doctor is familiar with you and your issues, and concerns.
