The bank offers free checking with a savings account (provided direct deposit is initiated with the bank), this includes bank provided checks, unlimited ATM card usage at any of the bank ATM's, and free Point of Sale (POS) transactions.

Overall the service is really great, I haven't had any problems with the bank. After just a few visits, while I established my account and got the proper documentation (for the Patriot Act) the few tellers that I encountered recognized me and identified who I was (great customer service). There are several different locations from which I can conduct my business, and over 25 ATM locations (lots to choose from). The big downfall is that anything out of town gets a $2 fee from the bank and also incurs an ATM fee from the owner of the ATM. Overall the service is unbelievable and very reasonable (free with direct deposit). There was a $5 minimum for opening the savings account and a $50 minimum for opening the checking account.

I wish that I had known before hand that banks actually gave service to people; free with direct deposit, most banks aren't actually advertising it as it has become a standard among banks. If a bank doesn't offer the customer services to draw their attention, keep shopping.
