Description of service

Last time I took a cab, I was staying with a family member in New York and we were on our way to the airport. We hailed around midtown. The driver helped us with our bags. We had to make a stop in between to drop something off at the workplace of my family member. The building was by Central Park and after that we went La Guardia airport. The cab ride was short even though there was a little bit of traffic and we were watching TV that was built into the back seat of the cab. When we got there he took the wrong exit to get to the terminal so he stopped the meter. We paid about $32 dollars for the ride itself and about $3 tip.

Review of Service

I thought the service was great. The cab driver was very helpful and when he made a mistake, he made sure not to overcharge us. He helped us with our luggage and was patient when we had to drop off the key. I think the price was very reasonable, even bordering on cheap because I come from a place where cabs are not as common and they are much more expensive.

Tips

Traveling by cab is surprisingly cheap in New York. If I had known that, I would have ridden a cab more instead of trying to figure out subways.
