the Price of Permanent Hair Straightening

I got my hair straightened. They provide all types of salon services, including hair cuts and styling, permanents, color, highlights, make-up, nails, up-dos, temporary color, permanent color, etc.

The service I received was exceptional. My hair is weird curly--it is super curly in the back and underneath, but the top is straight, which gives my hair a weird appearance in the way it styles and lays. I have had it straightened several times to give my hair a better style. It is so much easier to manage since I had it straightened, and I shouldn't need to have it done again for about six months to a year, which is great. The only downside is that my hair is already dry, and the permanent straightening sucks any leftover moisture out of my hair, so now it gets very tangled when it is washed. The straightening solution is very harsh, also, and burns a little bit, and it smells awful! Otherwise, it was worth the results I got from the straightening, and I am glad I did it!

Be sure to see a reputable stylist or salon. There are home straightening kits, but you are likely to get mixed results. If you are unsure about where to go, do a bit of internet research to see if there is anybody highly recommended in your area. See if there are before and after photos of people who have had it done--leaving the solution on too long can severely damage your hair, but rinsing it out too soon will provide mixed results. it is a delicate balance!
