Review of Service
The service was really good. My hair is really wavy in places, and bone straight in others. I wanted it all to match, and thought a permanent to make it all wavy was too 80's for me. I opted for the chemical straightening, instead. The procedure was very harsh on my hair, and it needed to be pampered for a few weeks following the process, but otherwise, it took very well. My hair ended up being very shiny, very soft, and VERY straight. I no longer had to spend hours drying and straightening my hair. I could just wash it, comb it, and go. The stylist was very skilled, and explained very well what kinds of chemicals were going into my hair, and what the process entailed, as well as after-care instructions.
Tips
Find a stylist you like before deciding to have any major things done to your hair. You never know what an inexperienced professional can end up doing to your 'do! Ask people who have awesome hair where they get it done. They will most likely have glowing reviews about their stylist, as well as a name and number for how to reach them.
