All of my life I have had to deal with crazy curly and kinky hair that just wouldn't brush out or wouldn't go straight. I had tried solution after solution to straighten my own hair, but finally decided that I should take it to a professional at the salon. Thankfully, I found someone in the nearby town who I really liked and did great hair. She only charged 45.00 to straighten hair and she could either do it permanently, or charge only 25.00 to use a flat iron on your hair and it would last about a day. I decided to do the chemical route and contrary to popular belief, it actually worked without burning my scalp or hurting me!

The hairdresser was just awesome! She was really talkative and let her guard down while she was doing my hair. she explained every step and made sure that I knew what she was doing each time before she did. She was really considerate and even stopped mid way through to ask if I would like a drink or a little snack of cheese before she finished rinsing out the straightener. I had never been treated so nicely and the price was all inclusive. she said that the curly hair may return in a year or two, but that if I came to see her, she would give me a thirty percent discount on future services.

Be sure that you have someone you like and that youa re sure what you wish to look like when you are done. If you do not convey this to your hairdresser, they will most likely end up doing what they feel looks best on you which is nice, but not be what you want.
