the Price of Permanent Hair Straightening

At the beginning of this year, I paid $125 to have my hair straightened by a professional hairdresser at a salon. This price included the hairdresser and her time, the shampoo and conditioner used to wash my hair, the chemicals to straighten it and the hairdresser styling it at the end of the process.

I decided to get my hair straightened after years of struggling to blow dry and hot iron my crazy curly hair straight every morning. I was slightly nervous about the outcome, but my hairdresser was an absolute sweetheart and put me at ease by assuring me it was the right decision and would look great. She kept me entertained throughout the entire 2 and a half hour process with her hilarious stories and jokes. She was so personable and funny. I completely trusted her to make my hair turn out great. She also explained what she was doing as she did it, so that I would feel more comfortable and understand what was going on. In the end, my hair turned out great, and getting it straightened saved me a huge hassle in the mornings. I loved it so much, I went back to her again and again to get it done!
