Description of service
We had a salesman come to our door offering to upgrade our current security system. The current system that we have is a hard wire system. From his explanation we already had the basic tools but we should upgrade to digital signal system. This is based on security. He explained to us that with a wire system, a burglar could cut the phone wire and our system would be disconnected. We bought into what he was saying and purchased it for intital fee of $129.00 and 70.00 a month.
Review of Service
The service is great. If I get locked out I can call give them a code and they can assist in getting into my home. I get a call within minutes if I do not key the code into the keypad. We get a print out of activity every month with each bill. The wireless system is connected to your computer email and cell phone to send alerts if the alarm is triggered. As soon as their call center gets an alarm triggered the police and fire department are immediately notified.
Tips
I would research the technology of home security systems. Find out what is new in the market and how it could benefit your family. Compare different prices before you make a decision. Make sure that you get the services you need and not buying into having the latest technology. We really could have kept our old system for 20.00 dollars less a month but my husband wanted the new technology.
