Description of service
This was an application for an auto loan. I had a small trade-in and no cash for a downpayment. The company was willing to take my trade-in and make arrangements to pay off the remainder of the downpayment. There was no charge to set up the loan.
Review of Service
The company was excellent to work with. And since then there have been a couple times when I was not able to make the payment on time. They were willing to work with me to not add onto the original payment amount. There was no late fee. They would take a post-dated check over the phone with the agreement that they would not run it until I could pay it.
Customer service was always polite about handling the late payments. They never made me feel bad or guilty about what had to be done. They were very understanding and made me feel like it was going to be ok. They have been doing an excellent job of working with me during the course of this loan.
Tips
Do your best to keep your credit up. I know you hear this all the time, but it is true. You really need to have good credit to live these days.
Look around and find a company that will work with you. Find out how long a payment can be past due before they want to take the car back.
