Description of service

How do you describe this service. Lets see...you bounce a check and the bank steals $32.50 from your empty account. Yes, I know they covered the check. I'd rather they didn't but that does not seem to be an option when opening an account.

Since I miscalculated my checking account. Which caused several checks to bounce. At $32.50 each that is a ton of money especially considering I simply ran out of money. Now in order to use my checking account I must pay the usury charges. Banks must love people with little money.....

Review of Service

Bounced check coverage service was great I guess. They covered the checks....all three. The cost was severe and usury in concept. Usury is theft in the Bible and rightly so.

Tips

Tip number one would be to keep a close eye on your account. Don't use a debit card or an atm card. That is where most people mess up. They use one of these cards and forget to enter the debit in their check register. That is what I did.

If you have good credit you can get an account like my wife has. Her account has overdraft protection up to $1000. When you bounce a check in her account the bank covers it just like my account. Big difference is she only get charged a minimal amount of interest. A much better idea I think. Of course you have to have good credit which I don't.
