Description of service
My daughter is in Kindergarten. She attends the AM session. I normally have a friend watch her after school, but my friend was unavailable. I had three days notice to find somewhere safe that would keep her afterschool. I found a center that would take her, from 11:30 am to 4:30pm, a total of 5 hours, for a cost of $30. This was a very reasonable rate, for such a young child and on such short notice. While she was there, they had outside time, snack time, and plenty of age appropriate activities for all ages.
Review of Service
This service was excellent. When I dropped off my child to this center, I felt that all of the children there were well cared for and being looked after. Each age group had their own set of activities. They treated my daughter like she was an old friend, and was welcome, not just like a new person who was only there for one day.
Tips
When choosing an afterschool place to keep your child, you should look around and if possible check out a few places in your area. Find one that both you and your child are comfortable with. Choose a place that has activites for all age groups that they care for, and make sure their outside play areas are safe. If you are happy with your choice, then your child will be too.
