the Cost of Dog Walking

I just got a puppy back in February and I've been so busy that I just don't have the time to walk her like I should. We let her go out a lot. We live in a wooded area not around any roads or anything so we let her go out and play with our other dog but to make sure she's getting adequate exercise I decided to go ahead and get a dog walker a few weeks ago.

I went to an online classifieds site where you can post gigs that you have and people can respond to them. I wasn't sure how much I should pay because I've never done this before so I just asked for them to give me estimates on how much it would cost per day. We finally found someone who lives just a few miles from us and she was a stay at home wife so she's able to come over whenever. Plus, it's a little extra income for her family so it works well with both of us. We pay her 20 dollars a day, 3 days a week to come walk our dog and play with her. She stays about an hour each time and our dog loves it. She's also teaching her some tricks. It's so cute.

Do some research. You want to find somebody who has some experience with dogs or at least that owns a dog and you want to be able to trust that person with your dog and know that they're safe. Also, it's probably better that you find someone pretty close to your home because if you don't you'll probably end up paying more because of rising gas costs.
