the Price of Dance Lessons

I signed up for a modern/contemporary dance class in my local neighborhood. It was a modern/contemporary dance class. Each lesson was for one hour and we met once a week. The cost was forty-five dollars per class. The forty-five dollars was just for the lesson but we were encouraged to tip the instructor and the end of the term, if we felt they deserved it. I did not tip the instructor.

I was very unhappy with the quality of service I received. The instructor was not a professional dancer and I felt I could have taught the class better than she did. And the lessons were expensive too! I would not have minded paying forty-five dollars for the lessons if it were a professional dance instructor teaching the class.

If you are thinking aboout taking a dance class or lesson, I would recommend sitting in on one of the classes you are interested before you pay for the lessons. This way you will know exactly what you will be paying for. I wish I had done this before I paid for the class; I ended up paying for one lesson and then quitting the class.
