the Cost of Dial Up Internet Access

I've tried countless internet services, some costly, some name brand, some cheap. but in the end i've disided that the extra 7-13$ a month isnt worth it just for a anti-virus and spamware included. My isp has a barebones aproach, there local and a low price. all i needed was a simple sheet of paper that told me how to set up my dail-up options to connect, no software. just a pure direct connection. shockingly simple over other isps that had me have to have a toolbar up, custom software, and to not be idle.

I had a few droped connections. a few busy times (oddly the telephone companies up here can be fussy.) but service was good. and i got a nice rate and it even played online games smoothly. the only trouble i had was when i switched to cable. they had horrable service hours and after 2 hours on the phone a randome message poped up with a "to disconnect online goto web page...." and that site took me 5 minutes to use and un-subscribe. but, all said and done id have to say that the price was right for the service, what i received and the ease of connecting online.

Remember to compair services, prices, and reviews. if in doubt do a keyword search on the service or company name, many current customers will frequent forums for that company, or privately to talk about quality issues. dont let one customer review shoot down your service choice though, sometimes poeple are chanky and just cant be pleased. the one thing i wish id had been told at the beginning was how to unsubsribe, it was one aspect that i never thought a company would give me an issue with.
