Description of service

The service was for 180 days of schooling for 8 hours. The school offers many materials along with it's tuition like books, writing materials, folders, and notebooks. The private school offered all the normal clases as public school. It offered art, music, and health. Along with these liberal art classes the school also has a manditory religion class. In this class life lessons are thaught to all of the students. The school has free busing for many of the students at the school. We live in the city and the bus take my son home from school each day. The school has guidance councilers who help the kids and know them all by name. On top of all of this the athletics for the kids are all free. The sports at this private school are superior to all others in the area. The life lessons learned from team play last with kids forever. There are infinite amount of free after school clubs for these kids as well. They can chose from chess club to spanish club and everything in between. The teachers teach the same ciriculum as public schools and the learning envirionment is nice. The school has plenty of helpful services that help the kids.

Review of Service

The quality of the private school was overall good. The teachers usually are paid less in private schools. This means that the teachers that teach there are usually there because of there love for teaching. The teachers teach the kids effectivly and do more than just teach the facts. My kids were able to learn twice as more at private school than at public school. The learning environment is a lot more calm and relaxing. The school offers so much to the kids and really prepares them for life after middle school. There are a few problems with the service of the school. This is a religious school and pushes religion at the kids. This is not a huge deal, but it can become alittle to much. All in all the schools possitives outweigh the negatives. Everyone knows everyone by name and the whole atmosphere is really great. Private schools can produce very well rounded people who know the important things in life. Because of the private school, I know my kid will be more ready for college and his job than before. The regents tests are all easily past by the students at most private schools. Learning seems to be a much easier thing for a child to do in a private school. Overall the private school is worth the 7,000 plus dollars that it cost.

Tips

There are many tips that someone has to hear before making a decision whether to enroll a child in private school. First you have to listen to the child. Forcing him or her to go to the school will only cause harm. Next you have to see if the cost of the school is reasonable. Some can get well to expensive and is not worth it. I would say anything 15,000 dollars and more is not quite worth it. Also don't just send a kid to a private school for the sports. The choices should be based on a whole range of things. Every child is different and has different needs. For example if a kid is autistic then private school might not work for him or her. Another thing that someone may want to look into is the teachers at the specific school. Some schools might have much better teachers then others. Always make sure the school is right for your kid. Don't make a fast decision without thinking. Take your time and chooses carefully since it is a big decision. Make sure your child is happy. Finally make sure you visit the schol and tour it to get a complete feel of the school.
