My husband and I finally decided to hire a full time nanny. I decided to go back to work when my youngest child was 6 months old and my husband was already working. at the time our 2 kids were ages 6 months old and 2 1//2 years old. i chose to hire a LIVE IN nanny and she would be paid $500 a week to watch our kids monday-friday from 7am to 6pm. she would have sundays off, but she would be required to babysit on saturday nights. we paid her an extra $50 to watch the kids on saturday nights. having a nanny is very expensive, but its well worth it, especially for the convenience!
Review of Service
We were very please with having a nanny around full time. she received free rent, plus free food, we also provided her with a minivan to use and she got $500 a week which is the going rate in our area for a nanny. unfortunately, she had to leave us to go home to her family, and now we found another nanny and she is just as wonderful as our first nanny!
Tips
do a background check on a nanny before you hire him or her! you wont regret it! also do a drug test and reference check
