the Price of a Lawyer for a Traffic Ticket

I had to get a lawyer because I was pulled over for not wearing a seat belt. They asked me for insurance and I did not have it on me! The deal was my brother in law is a manager at a car dealer ship he called my husband and I and said he had a good deal on a car. We went to the lot and checked it out and bought it! We did'nt have to show insurance because we are family so when we left in the car I got pulled over and was told I needed proof of insurance! The lot actually had insurance on this said car! So I had to go to court to show proof! Long story short when I did the prosecutor said it was'nt enough, so I had to pay 200.00 for a lawyer and the case was finally dropped! Needless to say I went through hell! Plus the prosecuting attorney was seriously in a bad mood that day! But truthfully I am so glad it is over, I do think the 200.00 was worth paying then to have to go back to court over and over again! But for such a small matter 200.00 is a rip off!

Well all the lawyer pretty much did was hold the case over! I still had to pay court cost and my lawyer 200.00

Try to find the cheapest lawyer possible! Sometimes the case is not even worth a lawyer so try and go without one i suggest!
