I had laser eye surgery about a month ago and it may be one of the best things I have ever done in my life. Best of all is that over time it will save me money and essentially pay for its self. I went in for a consultation and made sure I was right for the procedure. Then I had to go about three months without wearing my contacts to get my eyes used to not wearing them. Then the actual surgery took only about an hour. It has changed my life.
Review of Service
This surgery has come a long way since the days they used blades. It's now all done with lasers and it's pain free. The only pain I felt was due to the sensitivity of my eyes to light immediately following the procedure. I no longer have to buy expensive glasses or wear uncomfortable contacts. I can now just wake up and open my eyes. What a time saver.
Tips
Remember that although this surgery is common that it still is a fairly serious surgery. Nothing to take lightly. There is always a chance that you could still need correctional lenses following the surgery. In fact I have a friend who is in this situation. It won't work for everyone, but when it does work it's amazing.
