Description of service
I had Lasik surgery done. I had it done at Lasik center. I had a free consultation and the total of the actual surgery was $2,000.00. That included follow up visits if necessary but they ended up not being necessary.
Review of Service
The doctor I used wasn't the best. I already knew I wanted the surgery before I went in and met with him the first time. He wasn't very friendly and definitely made me feel like just any other patient. He came highly recommended and he was good at what he did - he just didn't have any 'bed side manner'. I was very nervous about the surgery and he didn't do anything to make me feel more comfortable. He gave me some pamphlets telling me what kinds of things I could expect afterwards and what to look out for as far as possible complications but he didn't really talk to me about it much. That said, the surgery went great and my vision is wonderful.
Tips
Just make sure to follow your gut when choosing a doctor. Although he did a great job and was very professional he wasn't a very good doctor beyond that. Try to find someone who will make you feel more comfortable and put you at ease.
