Description of service
This was for an initial consultation with a new dentist. It included the intitial exam of looking over all the teeth and gums, lifting up the tounge and assessing overall hygiene. It also included a set of full mouth x-rays along with plaque removal and polishing. I was given a toothbrush and floss to take home.
Review of Service
The service was great. The wait was minimal. Less than 10 minutes. The receptionist was very friendly and answered all my questions regarding payments. The hygenist was nice and very efficient. She pointed out areas that may need more brushing and encouraged me to floss. I had not been to a dentist in 4 years because we have no insurance and they were very understanding of that even while encouraging me to try "at least once a year." The dentist answered all my questions and never gave me the impression of being rushed. Overall the experience was as pleasant as a visit to the dentist could be. When I recieved the bill there was an error. I called their billing department and the matter was resolved within minutes.
Tips
If you have no dental insurance, call ahead and ask if they have payment plans.
It is good to get recommendations from friends about local dentist.
