Description of service
A bank that is in my local town 1/2 mile from my home, with other branches in spartanburg, sc. Offers free checking and I love it. When ever I need help they are happy to provide service. They cash my checks for me without a problem.
Review of Service
They explain to me that they do indeed cash checks I write for customers of no bank or other banks with proper id, without a fee. The bank gives me credit immediately every day all day and they are open til 6 pm on fridays. They do not have a 2 pm cut off on creditting accounts. Thank God. Other banks tell me that no banks do that because I need a bank to provide SERVICE and not jerk me around. They do. They take my out of state checks and have no problem with it. I have a great free line up of services including online banking which keeps me up to date. I can go deposit and arrive home and see my deposit is already there and creditted.
Tips
They also have free online bill pay which I wasn't even aware I had available to me. I cannot wait to get it started. So if you need a bank with great immediate deposit credit after 2pm and love having a friday bank open for you after 5 pm. Look around they exist! And they get to know you too.
