Description of service
My child was having trouble with math in school so I decided he could use a little extra help from a tutor. I chose one that I had heard about on tv because I had heard only good things. We went in for a consultation and they catered a special study course just for my son to help him with school. He now attends twice a month for an hour each time. This is about $100 per session and he brings his school material and sometimes they work on homework while other times they will work on learning concepts.
Review of Service
He loves the friendly atmosphere of the tutoring location. He typically gets one of two different tutors each time. It would be great to always have the same one, but I understand that's not always possible. His grades are up close to an entire letter grade and gets everything he learns. He now thinks he might even want to be a math teacher. I definitely recommend tutoring help if a child just doesn't get a subject. Sometimes they'll work on other subjects if they have time but for the most part they work on math. I'm very thankful for their help.
Tips
Sometimes you need to make the decision for your child to attend tutoring because they probably won't want to at first, until they learn that it can actually be fun.
