the Price of Tuxedo Rentals

For our wedding my husband needed a tuxedo. We figured because he would only use it once it would be better to rent than to buy. We paid $160 for the rental, this included shoes, a vest, a tie, a shirt, pants, cufflinks and a jacket. This was a good value because we were able to pick out the individual pieces and make the perfect tux. We also had insurance with this price which protected us from any damages.

The first step was going to a local branch of the tux rental place. Our wedding was in the same state but in a different area so we wanted to fly down and pick up the tux before the wedding. We went to the local store and were able to select the items we wanted. They had him try on the shoes and they custom fitted him for the jacket and pants. We were able to select a vest and tie that matched with the colors in our wedding. They took down all of the details and made sure the store near our wedding site would have everything ready to pick up. The day before our wedding we were able to go and pick up the tuxedo with no problems at all which was wonderful. They also gave us plenty of time after the wedding to return the tux. I would definately suggest renting a tuxedo rather than purchasing one.

Go to a fitting. Be vocal about what things you want specifically. Plan ahead and get fitted a week or two before the event.
