the Price of Tuxedo Rentals

Tuxedo rental of 4 tuxedos, including Pants, jacket, vest, long sleeve button up shirt and shoes. Including all alterations done within 24 hours of receiving tuxedo, and alterations are to be finished within 24 hours of dropping them back off to store for alterations. All taxes included and tuxedo insurance could be added for $3.00 more per tuxedo. Which we decided to opt for because you never know what can happen at a wedding.

When we went to have the tuxes fitted the lady doing the fittings didn't look like she knew what she was doing, we had set up an appointment, so if she didn't know what she was doing there should have been someone there that did. We went along with her because she was the only one in the store. When she measured my husbands pants she only measured the inside seam which seemed strange but I really wouldn't know what to do so again I figured she knew.

When we picked up the tuxes we had all the men try them on, one out of the 4 fit, the grooms pants had to be hemmed, the top button on two of the groomsmens' tuxes wouldn't button because the neck of the shirt was to small. ETC ETC, nothing but problems, brought them back to the store had alterations done figured everything would be ok, the day of the wedding, the grooms pant came unhemmed two pairs of the shoes fell apart, nothing but more problems. I was very disappointed.

Order tuxes at least 6 weeks before you need them this will leave you at least 2 weeks for alterations to be done right. Also your better off going to a brand name, or bigger tuxedo rental store instead of your local mens clothing store for rentals. They are more apt to fix any problems with out all the hassle and any extra costs also get everything in writing, tuxedo rental is still after all a rental contract.
