the Price of Silk Wrap Nails

I tried one time to get silk wrap nails and the salon i went to was extremely over priced! the first time i got silks it cost me $55, not too bad for silks, but then i went to the over priced salon and they charged me $46 just for the fills!!!! other salons usually only charge 20 or so!!

I went there and asked for a fill in of my silk wrap nails. While doing my nails the tech kept asking me to get my eyebrows and a pedicure. Thank God I declined. They trimmed my cuticles, did the fill in and charged me $46.00. I have been getting my nails done for 10 years and have never been charged $46 for a fill in not even while traveling and going to nice salons/hotels!!! I always tip $8-10 I was so furious I gave $4. I learned my lesson and will always ask prior to getting a service if I try any new places again!!! For that price they need to have ambiance, music, and be serving coffee/tea, etc!!! It was not even the extra money that offended me so much it was the fact that because I showed up in a suit on the way home from work I think that she stuck it to me thinking I had money or something.

look up reviews PRIOR to going to a salon to get your silk wraps. some of these places are just crazy overpriced i cant believe it!
