Description of service

Income tax preparation fees including: Filing fee ($25), forms preparation fees($250), and handling fee ($25). This was for a LLC, so it wasn't just the home user fees that are typically associated with tax preparation fees.


Review of Service

Overall, the service was really good. The tax preparation professional got right to down to business, he went through receipts with us and showed us what we were allowed to take as exemptions and what could not be counted as exemptions. He was very thorough in his explanations of what the forms would be used for and why they were being filed. He helped us get into an organizational mindset for the next year as well, so next year should be easier. What I didn't really care for was waiting for almost three hours to see the tax preparer, as there were only two preparers on hand. Also the preparer that we had made a significant reduction on the bill as the sticker shock of almost $700 almost sent us to the hospital.


Tips

Make sure that you have everything you could possibly think of before you go to the tax preparers office. Have a general idea which forms need to be filed, even though you don't know which ones specifically will be filed(otherwise you would be the tax preparer).
