the Cost of Skydiving

I always had a notion that skydiving was a very difficult task and required a lot of courage and an introvert person like me could never do it. But i was wrong. I undertook a tandem jump in New York recently. The price of the jump was just $80.

I was tied to a trainer who controlled the jump from exit to opening and landing. The knowledge and experience required was none. We were thrown into thin air from a height of approximately 3,400 feet and we were under free fall for about 35 seconds. The parachute ride lasted for about 4-5 minutes. It was really thrilling and an experience of a lifetime. I think it was a perfect experience at a perfect price. There was nothing more that i could have asked for.

First of all, do not be afraid of skydiving, especially tandem jumping. Secondly, do not panic during the free fall or the parachute ride as that might lead to some problems. Also, do not ever expos yourself to silly risks as they might prove to be dangerous. As per a recent study, very few skydiving accidents or injuries are caused by random or unexpected equipment failure. So, remember that skydiving is very safe.
