the Cost of Skydiving

I went on a sky-diving adventure. The cost of one jump was $150.00. This included a short refresher for experienced jumpers.

I've been skydiving numerous times in my life but the most recent was in San Diego. I found a place that offered jumps over the desert area just east of San Diego. We met at their shop in San Diego. Even though I have done over a dozen jumps I was still required to do a quick refresher course on proper jumping. I realize they have to do this to cover themselves in the event of something going wrong, but I found the course a little annoying anyway.

Once we got up in the air, things went well. There were a few first timers though and I found them to be a little bit annoying. They were obviously scared, as I was the first time I jumped. I don't begrudge them that but I do wish that I had the option of only going up with people who had a little more experience.

After the jump they came and picked us up on the ground very quickly. Everything went off without a hitch and it was overall a great experience, beyond the few minor annoyances.

Be sure to get good comprehensive instructions if it's your first time. If you're experienced, see if there's a time you can go up where only other experienced people will be jumping.
