the Cost of Hood Repair

The service I paid for was the body shop to pop out multiple dents that covered roughly thirty percent of my hood surface area. The service took roughly 4 hours and it was handled with care and with professional tools which were only available through professional body repair shops.

The service was professional and very well done. The dents previous to this service were quite an eyesore, especially with their proximity to the driver seat (I could see them every time I drove). After the service was performed, I found that the smaller sized dents were no longer noticeable and the larger dents were somewhat noticeable but looked fairly uniform and buffed out with the rest of the hood that it wasn't obvious to anyone who didn't already know that the dents were there. The service came with a new car wash and wax to make the car look a little nicer and to really show off the new repairs on the hood, it was well worth the service fee. The repair service was not guaranteed due to the idea that dents may revert back to their previous form with any sort of considerable pressure.

I highly recommend going to a professional body shop to get noticeable dents out of your car's body. Though there are plenty of do-it-at-home solutions that you see on television, the only way to truly be sure that you will get the dents out is to have them professionally taken care of. This service is normally a same-day service and it can really make a car look great. With dents in a hood, where it is a broad surface, professional repairs make the most sense though it may be expensive.
