Description of service
The $25 per fee was for the class itself and the use of their materials, paint colors, small canvas, brushes, etc. The instructor is an art teacher who curates part time. 2 hours.
Review of Service
The class was really fun. It was mainly for beginners learning the basics. It was really more of introduction to the world of art. We learned to blend colors, we learned about textures of paint and what to and not to mix. We also had a brief history lesson on the different genres of art and how they came about. We learned about various artists while we were following the instructors by lead painting along with her. She was really funny and told us to channel our energy more so than try to draw or re-create exactly what we see. It was enlightening and very entertaining, I learned a lot and it was a great way to express myself. After I left I felt creative and since then I've started painting in my spare time. I'd highly recommend it.
Tips
Don't take it too seriously and you will enjoy it more. I think even though most accomplished artists have to step back and say hey this is fun. Great way to meet new people who are interested in trying new things. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it.
