Description of service
This service is for overdraft protection from my bank, in case I accidentally over draft my account. The service is free from bank. I also have a savings account with my bank and they will just take the funds from the savings account and send me a letter telling me they did so. If I don't have the money in the savings account, the bank will cover the charge as long as I pay it back before my next billing date, which is usually about thirty days.
Review of Service
I have nothing but good things to say about my bank. Maybe it's just my local branch, or maybe it's because they are a nationally known bank, but they offer me great service at a very low cost. I don't over draft very often, maybe twice a year, but when I do my bank really takes care of the problem without charges me high end fees like other banks do.
Tips
The best suggestion I can give is to look around and see what is available. Some banks will try to lure you in with pitiful gifts, like a gym bag. I look for the financial benefits of signing up with a particular bank.
