Description of service

The services described are those of a baby sitter who was paid a daily rate. The above reflects a full week of baby sitting services.

Review of Service

With the schedule my wife and I have with work, a daycare was out of the question, so we decided to look into hiring a local teenager to babysit our son. We looked at several individuals and were able to decide what types of criteria we were looking for, and then able to narrow down which of teenagers we trusted for the position. We found a teen we were comfortable with, whom we trusted in our home, and who's company our son enjoyed. Our son was able, with a babysitter to have all the attention he desired and we feel that benefitted him developmentally. We stopped using the baby sitter when she went away to college.

Tips

Make sure you go over instructions with your baby sitter very well. Be sure they know what time is feeding time, what time is nap time, and how much TV you are comfortable with them watching with your child. You are fully within your rights here. Don't worry about hurting someone's feelings ... you are their boss!
