the Price of Drug Rehab

My husband was in a full time rehabilitation facility for drug and alcohol treatment. The cost of this for one month was $2500. This included all meals and his therapy.

My husband had an unfortunate experience with a pain killer addiction. He eventually found it unmanageable and we checked him into a treatment center for 30 days. The total cost included his room, board and 2 therapy sessions per day. One session was a one-on-one session and the other was group therapy. He had three different doctors for the one-on-one therapy and they rotated each day. His medications would have been included if he'd been prescribed something but he chose not to be, for obvious reasons. He had a good experience there. There was a definite tough love approach, which is the type of approach he responds. My children and I were unable to visit him, which was an unnecessary restriction for him and his addiction.

Find out what method the center will use. Some will do a deep therapy regression, some will do a tough love approach. Everyone responds differently to these types of things so figure out what you think best fits with you and try to find a good match.
