Description of service

My son took part in a 30 day inpatient treatment for drug addiction. The price we paid was $500 which included all medications and meals.

Review of Service

My husband has health insurance that covers the whole family that has a very comprehensive wellness addition to it. This covered our sons stay in rehab and all we had to pay was $500. This was a great deal for us, obviously, but the downside was that he had to go to their facility and if he did not complete the 30 day treatment we would have been responsible for the entire amount of his stay.

While that was quite a gamble, we believed in our son and if we didn't have the option of them paying for most of his treatment, we would have paid for it anyway so we didn't feel we stood to lose much. The treatment for our son was wonderful. The nurses that worked there were the perfect combination of understanding and tough. His counselors were wonderful and very supportive. They kept us up to date on his recovery.

Tips

Inpatient drug rehab is really the best option for someone with a serious drug problem. It's important to be sure to follow it up with treatment once the patient is out though.
