I had the wood floors in my living room refinished. The cost for all materials and labor was $450 total.
Review of Service
The service I received was excellent. I was a little wary, as I have the original wood floors in my living room. I wanted to make sure that they were being refinished without being damaged in the process. The company I chose did not offer the lowest price but they had the most experience. I'm definitely glad that I was sure to choose them because they took special pains to make sure the work was done right.
The only problem I had was with their customer service. After the work was done, it seemed to take them forever to cash my check. I finally called them to check on it and was given the run around for several days. Finally it got straightened out but I didn't appreciate having to waste so much of my time just making sure that they got paid.
Tips
Keep the value and not just the price in mind. You find a really cheap option with a company who won't do a great job. Also take customer service in mind so that if you do have a problem you don't waste your time trying to get it taken care of.
