All in all, I found my space to be much more comfortable after the redesigner worked her magic.

If you are on a tight budget but want help sprucing up your home, a redesigner is much cheaper than hiring a decorator. Look for redesigners that are sensitive to your needs, so your home will be functional as well as look beautiful. Be prepared to help move things around, or have people there who can help with the heavy lifting. Also, be prepared for some items to be reused in ways you never imagined.
