Description of service

I ordered high speed internet and installation was a whopping $150. This includes the router and all the cables necessary. The price was for the service of installing the internet only. The actual internet is about $50 a month and the internet itself is great. It is very fast and I am happy with it. Any time I have had any problems, I have contacted them and they resolved it over the phone or sent someone down as soon as possible.

Review of Service

I think the monthly price is reasonable since it's good service. The price of installation is ridiculous, however. The installation fee included the price of the router and all the cables which probably doesn't equal even a quarter of what I paid to have a guy screw some cables in for 5 minutes. Companies usually give you the option to install it yourself. If you already have a cable connection in your house or apartment, the installation takes a matter of minutes. Buy a router either from them or from a store and all you have to do is hook up the router to the wall and the computer to the router. You will save a lot of money if you do it yourself. The only time the installation fee is probably worth it is when they have to set up a cable connection in your wall.

Tips

I don't know much about routers but it's probably wise to look around for a router because you might find cheaper prices elsewhere. You can install either a company's router or any of the ones listed on their website. Make sure you check with them first.
