Description of service
This is the price we paid for the DJ at our wedding reception. This was the total price for everything, but we did tip him fifty dollars because we felt like he had given us such a great deal. Our wedding went way over budget, so this was one place we were able to save money. The DJ had the equipment set up two hours before the wedding began. We had appetizers and cocktails first and he played some nice jazz. During the dinner, he continued with some soft music. After, when the party really started, he played music chosen from a pre-selected set list we had chosen about a month before.
Review of Service
We were so happy with this DJ. The price was fantastic, but the music was even better. He helped us decide on some songs, but he also gave us the idea to ask our bride's maids and groom's men to pick some songs that they would enjoy. He also gave us a CD with every song he had played during the night. I do not know if this is standard practice now, but I thought it was a nice touch!
Tips
Try to get a referral from friends or family. That is how we were able to obtain this DJ at such an amazing price!
