the Price of an Orthodontist

We recently purchased a full orthodontic treatment plan for our 12 year boy in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The original consultation was free of charge. The $5,300 includes all schedules visits to the orthodontists office from the day the braces go on the teeth until exactly months after the braces are removed. The office visits are approximately every six weeks for two years before the braces are removed. The fee includes the braces being applied to the teeth, all needed repairs resulting from normal wear and tear (not neglect), head gear and the final retainers that will be needed once the braces are removed.

The service we have received has been terrific. The office staff is very friendly and everything has been explained to us thoroughly every step of the way. We got a very through explanation of exactly how to take care of the braces properly for the best results possible. I feel the service is a great value for the price.

The orthodontist is very gentle, friendly and time efficient.

The best advice I can give if you are looking for orthodontic care is to go have the initial free consultation with more than one orthodontist. We checked out several and found that a few were not very patient and didn't take the time to explain thoroughly why you need orthodontics, price and the final possible results.

I felt it was important to find an orthodontist that was personable because you will have many office visits over several years time.

I also found that in out area the range in price varied from $5000 to $7500 for the exact same treatment plan.
