Description of service

I recently gave birth to my third child. The delivery and hospital stay cost well over seven thousand dollars. The service was excellent and well worth the cost. Both my child and I had healthy outcomes.

Review of Service

The services provided were for delivery of a baby girl, post natal care for mom, and infant care for baby. There were loads of newborn screenings included in the cost including examinations by a pediatrician. Although I didn't utilize it, lactation consultant fees were also included. The service I received was excellent.

Tips

When deciding which hospital to deliver at, take into consideration distance from home, specialized services in case of emergencies, and rooms. Some hospital have birthing rooms where the baby is born then hospital room where the mother and baby stay for the remainder. other hospitals offer one room for both delivery and stay. Ask if the father or other children are allowed to stay in the room with mom and baby. Take a tour of the hospital before you get too close to delivery time. If it isn't what you want, check out other hospitals. Remember, you are paying for a service, you do not have to settle for something you don't want or don't like.
