the Price of Basic Cable

$15 for basic cable and $1 for applicable taxes. Basic cable includes about 20 channels, such as CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, FOX, and local public access. Does not include any extended cable channels, such as Discovery, Comedy Central, Lifetime, SciFi, etc. No hardware is included with basic cable, the only thing necessary is a cable line and a television. This price did not include the fees for initial activation of cable or the installation of a cable line.

From my experience, the quality of service is good. I have not experienced any issues or outages with this cable, and have had positive experiences with customer support. Customer and technical support is available 24/7, but you often have to remain on hold for quite a while before reaching anyone.

Review different cable and satelite packages through different providers before selecting one. Ask other people in the area about the quality and cost of services. It is generally more cost efficient to get cable in a package with some other service, such as internet or phone service. Decide which services you would like and ask about any package deals the provider has. Many providers also have introductory rates for new customers, so be sure to ask about these also.
