the Price of Career Training

I have been trying to think of ways to gain more skills for my resume and I noticed that a lot of the jobs require microsoft excel in their job listings. Usually when I looked at jobs this was the only skill that I lacked, so I decided to find a place to receive training in excel so I could begin applying for various jobs.

I started searching on the internet and found this one agency that had classes throughout the day, and even would meet with a customers at a set designated time. Although the price was out of my range I noticed in my research that there were many places charging the same or even more for a block of 4 hours. I went ahead and received the beginning lessons of the excel class and it was great.

The lady that taught me the excel skills was very nice and pleasant. What made taken this course great was that the lady actually allowed me to work on the computer at the same time she was teaching me so I was able to learn in a more effective manner. She also allowed me to work at my own pace, which was nice for a change. I felt comfortable asking questions and she was also very informative with her answers.

When seeking someone to help you learn a new skill make sure you know that they have credentials or can provide you a sample of their work. You want to make sure you are getting exactly what you are paying for especially if they charge quite a bit for their services.
