On/off trolley service to all the tourist spots in Saint Augustine. The adult ticket is $18.90 for the day, the child's ticket is $7.20, but I don't know the age limit, infants are free.

There are 2 kinds of trolley services in tourist towns. The one where you get on the trolley and take a tour; you stay on the trolley for the whole trip.

The other kind, which is the kind in Saint Augustine, is an on/off trolley service. There are many tourist areas in St. Augustine and they are spread out all over the city. Also there is very limited parking, you have to put money in the meters, and there is a time limit.

This trolley had two main stops and provided ample parking for the day. You purchased your ticket at one of these main stops and then rode the trolley at your leisure. There were probably 20 stops and you got off at one you were interested in and then when you were done in that area, you went back to the trolley stop and just waited for the next trolley.

In the peak season, the trolleys ran about every 5 minutes; in the off season, they run about every 15 minutes.

You see the city the way you want to, at your own pace, staying as long in one spot as you want and even avoiding ones that do not interest you.

It's the best !!!

Make sure you understand the hours for the day. Sometimes they differ depending on what day or season it is. One time we got stuck downtown because we thought the last trolley was at 10 and it was at 8. We had to take a cab back to our hotel !!
