Description of service

We recently signed our son up for the local basketball league in our city. The fee for the league covered the league registration, it consisted of 8 regular season games, an end of the season single elimination tournament, reversable player jersey, and even gave each player their own basketball.

Review of Service

The league play has been some what frustrating as the league has been unorganized for the entire season which has annoyed many of the parents. Leauge information online never gets updated, game to game league policies change, and referees each game seem to have a lack of experience. The best thing about the league is to see the kinds out their enjoying the game and having fun. You can't put a price on that and it is truly one of the best joys about being a parent. The worse thing about the league is the lack of organization. The price was high compared to other leagues in the area but we had been informed by friends that this was the best league for our son. At this point i don't see that being the case.

Tips

Each city offers a number of different leagues for each age group. Look around and find one that is best suited to your childs needs and experience. Some leagues are more geared to competitiont han others and many rookies in that league lose interest in the game due to the diffuculties they face playing.
