Description of service
I wanted my hair straight for the weekend, so I went to a local beauty salon. The treatment that was added to my hair was a salon hair relaxer that would wash out in about 3 to 4 days. The total cost of treatment was $75.00, plus $50.00 for the blowout and $25.00 for the tip.
Review of Service
The service was great. They made me very comfortable. My hair was washed with a refreshing shampoo that washed out all the dirt and oils. Then they applied the treatment, and kept it on my hair for about an hour. During that time, I was given snacks and magazines to pass the time. Afterwards, my hair was blow dryed out. They applied a lotion to my hair for shine. All in all, I was out of the salon in about 2 hours. Since my hair is longer and it takes more time to blow dry it out.
Tips
Ask your friends first for recommendations. They usually can point out the best hair salons around. Also call around for prices. Ask a lot questions about the product, hair stylist, how long the procedure and last but not least price. It can get very expensive, so do your research. Don't be afraid to visit the salon and watch them how they work and treat their customers.
