the Price of Arts and Crafts Classes for Kids

I enrolled my daughter in a sculpting and painting class at a local center which offers both arts and crafting classes for children and adults. The class started in January and lasted through May meeting on a weekly basis for one hour per week. Costs of any materials that were used during the class were covered in the class price. The class size was small so each child received individual attention and help when needed. The teacher of the class was very fun oriented and worked well with the children. My daughter absolutely loved going to the class and cannot wait to get enrolled in a different art class that will begin in the fall of this year.

I was very pleased with both the class size and the instructions that were provided in the class. I did feel that the children could have benefited from having more than one class per week as it seemed to take several weeks to get a project completed and I noticed that my daughter did get impatient with this at times. Otherwise we were very happy with the services provided. We will be doing another class in the fall of this year. I felt that the price was very affordable as the classes lasted over several months. This was a good value for the price that was paid.

One thing I did see was that the teacher did not recommend that the children bring a smock or old T shirt when they were painting. My daughter got paint on two of her outfits. We were able to get the paint out but I will be sure and take an old shirt or smock for her to wear when she goes to future classes.
